Sumatra and Java are Indonesia’s most unique coffee growing regions. Indonesian coffee has a rich history of natural disaster, poverty, and starvation of the local population and coffee farmers. Indonesia, specifically in Sumatra tend to use wet-huelled water processing technique which results in specific flavours that are commonly associated with coffees from this region.
The cherries are handpicked, washed and dried, before being transported to the UK to be roasted, ground and packaged. After leaving our roastery, it then arrives at our storage depot within seven days, ready to be shipped immediately to customers.
