Experience the complexity of Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, with its sweet, intense flavour of spice, luscious fruit, and delicate chocolate! Enjoy its rich, full-bodied flavour without a trace of bitterness.
From its revered status as the purported birthplace of coffee, Ethiopia boasts a lush array of microclimates and soil varieties producing exquisite and flavoured Arabicas. This sublime Yirgacheffe derives its title from the foothills of central Ethiopia, the home of the 927 cooperative members who cultivate its coffee cherries at heights of 1700m-2200m and process them at their Fairtrade washing station.
Building Lasting, Sustainable Partnerships with Farmers
We are dedicated to creating strong, sustainable relationships with cooperative farmers. By paying the Fairtrade Premium, we ensure that farmers receive fair compensation, empowering them to reinvest in their farms and communities. This not only promotes the creation of sustainable products but also generates long-term benefits for both people and the planet.
As a multi-stakeholder cooperative, we invite farmers to become members, giving them an active voice in our operations. This collaborative approach strengthens our partnership and fosters a more equitable and thriving community.
