Some important questions which we feel need answering. Straight from the horse's mouth!

Q: Do you only sell Fairtrade products?

A: Yes! All of our products (coffee, hoodies, T-Shirts, polo neck shirts etc...) are 100% Fairtrade and where possible dual standards certified -  Soil Association Organic and 100% Fairtrade.

Q: How come your products are priced so low? I've seen Fairtrade products in the shops selling at far higher prices...

A: Revolver World is a not for profit organisation - any surplus we make, we return to the producers and reinvest into our production chain to develop our products. As we have no desire to make huge profits to just line our bank accounts with, we can price our products more realistically without paying any less to the producers and growers in developing nations.

Whilst there is an element of profit-making in our IPS Mutual community co-operative, all of this is continually reinvested so we can offer a wider range of products to our customers... and that's it! Our long term goal is to fund the construction of a school, hospital or other community building in an African nation through our Social Justice programme, so we are working towards that - these funds are ringfenced for that specific purpose.

From every item of clothing we produce, the Fairtrade Foundation also receives its guaranteed royalty, ensuring we can all continue to support those in developing nations who are part of the Fairtrade programme.

Q: Where can I buy your Fairtrade merchandise?
A: We are currently in a range of Midcounties and Penrith Co-operative stores (along with a few excellent independent stores - see our Where To Buy Revolver World Coffee map for a full listing along with addresses!) We're always in discusions to expand our reach and eventually go nationwide. The Revolver World store is online and accepting direct orders as well (and you will occasionally find special offers or discounts unavailable anywhere else if you buy direct from us).

On top of this, we also offer generous wholesale arrangements for those interested in acquiring a large quantity of products for resale or distribution in the UK or overseas.
